Project Overview
Developed as an in-depth visual communication industry research project, this editorial case study explores the critical and sensitive issue of animal testing within the beauty industry. The final deliverable is a comprehensive, self-published magazine designed to uncover the realities of cosmetic testing and advocate for cruelty-free practices.
The Strategic Pivot & Creative Journey
Fueled by a personal passion for cosmetics, the project initially began as an exploration into makeup branding, product marketing, and original beauty photography. However, as the research phase deepened, the direction organically shifted toward a more impactful social cause. I chose to pivot the publication's focus entirely toward environmental ethics and corporate accountability, examining the harsh realities of animal testing from multiple analytical angles.
